Can I use different attachment brands on my skid steer?
Yes, most skid steers are designed with a universal quick coupler system that allows them to connect with various attachment brands. However, before purchasing a stump grinder attachment or any other implement, it’s essential to confirm that your skid steer’s hydraulic capacity and operating weight are compatible with the specific requirements of the attachment. This ensures optimal performance and safety.
Should I choose an Excavator Cutter or a Skid Steer Cutter?
It depends on your job site, workload, and environment. If you’re working in tight areas or need to reach brush high off the ground, an excavator cutter is the better fit. If you’re clearing a large, open field and want to get the job done quickly, go with a skid steer cutter.
Which direction should the cutter spin?
All of our cutters spin clockwise when you’re seated in the cab.
The lines jump, but the cutter won’t spin—what’s wrong?
This is usually a plumbing issue. Try swapping the couplers on the cutter’s hoses—some machines are plumbed differently, and switching the lines typically solves the problem.
Why does the cutter make a loud noise when I back it off?
That’s the relief valve doing its job—completely normal and nothing to worry about.
Do you offer financing?
We don’t offer in-house financing, but we do partner with a couple of financing companies. We’re happy to connect you with them.
Can I run the cutter in reverse, or are any of the blade bolts reverse-threaded?
No. The cutter is not designed to run in reverse. While the blades are sharp on both sides—except for those on our skid steer brush mower, which are made to be flipped—they are not intended for reverse operation. Additionally, the blades and blade holder bolts are not reverse-threaded. They’re secured with red Loctite to keep them from coming loose, so you’ll need to apply heat to remove them safely.
Does the bearing housing use grease or oil?
Our bearing housings are sealed and filled with 80/90 gear oil.
How long do the teeth last?
With normal use and avoiding rocks, the teeth can last a year or longer.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
All of our cutters come with a 1-year warranty, except for the skid steer brush mower, which includes a 6-month warranty. This warranty covers all components except for wear items like teeth, blades, and hoses, as well as any damage caused by material wrapping around the bottom shaft.
What is the difference between a bush hog and a brush cutter?
While the terms are often used interchangeably, “bush hog” is a brand name commonly used to describe a rotary cutter. In function, both a bush hog and a brush cutter perform the same job—clearing heavy vegetation and overgrowth. A high-quality skid steer brush mower cutter offers the same capabilities, designed to tackle thick brush and rugged terrain with ease.

I purchased the 36" Rotary brush cutter for my 22' KX-033-4R1 mini excavator. I am very pleased with its performance and build quality. I feel that the money spent is well worth the purchase.
Great company and very helpful staff on answering my questions.
Ordered an Excavator mower for my Kubota. Couldn't have been more smooth of a transaction. Cutter showed up, and works as advertised. Wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
